House #2

I designed this house several years ago... at the time I was into the idea of closets with no doors so most of the closets in this house are walk-in with the option of a curtain, but no door. The kitchen is one of my favorite designs, actually inspired by a modern display kitchen I found in a magazine.

Designing houses has been a hobby of mine for probably 15 years now. I started drawing plans on graph paper when I was about 12 and ended up studying architecture in college and then interior design in grad school. My daily work consists of mostly commercial projects so I continue to design houses and interiors in my spare time. These designs are simple schematics and are NOT for construction purposes. Some are unfinished, some have more detail than others, and none of them have structural or mechanical drawings. Please don't try to build a house with these drawings! I'm NOT a licensed architect or engineer and can't guarantee your house won't collapse! This is purely a creative outlet for me that I finally decided to share.
